In case you need another reason to attend High Point Market this fall, Legacy Classic | Modern just announced a brand-new collection in partnership with Country Living — to debut at High Point during the five days of Market from October 26 – 30, 2024.

Since the late 1970s, Country Living Magazine has inspired not only rural America, but anyone who has aspired to live a slower, more intentional life. The country living mindset and aesthetic extends to all aspects of life, from entertaining, cooking and building community to DIY projects and home decor.

“Bringing Country Living’s timeless and heartfelt style to furniture feels like a seamless growth opportunity for this brand,” said Angela Kim, senior director of licensing at Hearst Magazines, in a recent press release. “Country Living has always cherished the warmth and authenticity of a well-loved home, and this partnership with Legacy, and the products that we designed together, express this spirit beautifully. Now, we are delighted to offer our audience a way to furnish their homes with the same charm and comfort that has defined this brand for decades.”

Launching at High Point, the Vintage Market Collection will be the first of multiple collections to come under the Country Living Home banner. This first collection was inspired by true antique furniture markets where pieces feel like one-of-a-kind finds that add charm and character to any home. And as a whole home collection, Vintage Market includes both stand-alone pieces and suites to appeal to a range of customer needs, with approximately 60 models and numerous finish options that, combined, create up to 200 unique silhouettes. Core finishes include Barnwood, Kettle Black and Picket Fence, with accent finishes in Mallard Green, Northern Moss and Spiced Apple. Multiple two-tone finishes are also available.

“The market is saturated with white and gray finishes, straight angles, chrome and modern, minimalist looks,” noted Chris Pelcher, president of Legacy. “We see a void for vintage, timeless, architectural traditional styles with gravitas.”

From vintage-inspired beds and nightstands to kitchen and dining furniture and even an Adirondack desk, the Country Living Vintage Market Collection by Legacy Classic | Modern is sure to create a buzz at High Point Market this fall.

“We believe it offers a significant value to retailers when they have the opportunity to differentiate with a national brand on their floors, helping them attract new customers and appeal to existing ones,” added Melcher. “Since we have a successful celebrity license with Trisha Yearwood Home, we were looking for a lifestyle license, and we kept coming back to the Country Living aesthetic and lifestyle.”
