Class Will Be In Session at First-Ever Luxury University

Written by Rob Stott

July 27, 2021

Earlier this year, Nationwide Marketing Group took the full leap into the luxury appliance market, moving John O’Halloran into the role of senior merchant for the category. Now, on the heels of Nationwide’s involvement in the first-ever NKBA Luxury Defined Summit, the group is prepping luxury-focused education for PrimeTime in Nashville.

As the Nationwide Membership comes together for the first in-person show in over a year and a half, dealers who currently merchandise luxury appliances will have the opportunity to participate in the inaugural Luxury University session. The fast-paced but insightful hour of education will focus on all things luxury appliances.

The three-part session will feature:

  • John O’Halloran presenting on the four pillars of Nationwide Marketing Group’s luxury appliance strategy
  • Karen Brandon, senior marketing manager for luxury appliances, presenting a deep dive into the psychographics of the luxury consumer
  • And strategic vendor partner presentations from representatives with Fisher & Paykel and GE Monogram who will share their vision for the future of the luxury category

Interested in learning more about the luxury appliance industry — particularly around how the consumers in this market thing and prefer to be engaged with? Then give our Independent Thinking Podcast episode with Karen Brandon a watch/listen! Karen recapped her experience presenting on that exact topic during the NKBA Luxury Defined Summit and shared some of her findings with us.

Luxury University will take place on Tuesday, August 17 from 3-4 p.m. CT at PrimeTime.
