WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Nationwide Marketing Group announced today that Corsicana Mattress Company has signed on as a premier vendor partner, giving Nationwide’s independent retailers exclusive access to the company’s high-quality, affordable mattresses.

“The bedding business is changing, as is the way that customers shop for mattresses,” said Jerry Honea, Nationwide’s senior vice president of furniture and bedding. “Corsicana’s line of handcrafted, value-priced mattresses – all of which are made in the United States – is well-positioned to help our members better compete against online retailers. We are excited to welcome them to the Nationwide family and look forward to their participation at our national PrimeTime show this August.”

Michael Thompson, chief executive officer of Corsicana Mattress, cited Nationwide’s exponential growth in digital marketing and website development as a key consideration for the partnership.

“Nationwide Marketing Group has shown time and time again why it is the premier organization for independent retailers across North America,” Thompson said. “From its digital advertising strategy and exclusive Google partnership to its expansive field organization and robust learning academy, Nationwide offers the very best program to help independent retailers prosper, and we are proud to be a part of it.”

In addition to its partnership with Corsicana, Nationwide also announced that it has strengthened its bed frame portfolio to include more options for its members. The company has expanded its current program with Malouf, which will offer both steel bed frames and adjustable bases as a premier vendor partner. Nationwide will continue to offer Leggett & Platt adjustable bases to its members and has also launched new steel frame programs with Knickerbocker and W. Silver Products.
