Nationwide Marketing Group, North America’s largest buying, business and support organization for independent appliance, furniture, bedding, consumer electronics and outdoor retailers, has signed a point-of-sale partnership agreement with Myriad Software, giving Nationwide dealers access to group-negotiated pricing and PriMetrix platform integration for one of the leading home furnishing software solution providers.

“This partnership with Myriad provides a great opportunity for our members, and we’re excited that we’ll be able to extend Myriad’s preferred partner pricing to them,” says Nationwide’s Director of Point of Sale Steve Mahler. “It’s also a major development for our PriMetrix platform. By integrating Myriad’s platform directly into our suite of data-driven tools, we’ll be able to provide even more accurate home furnishings market analysis, SKU performance and data analytics to our members.”

Founded in 1990, Myriad works with hundreds of retail partners throughout North America. The brand recently launched its PointCentric® platform, a mobile-friendly system that introduces a comprehensive web-based, touch navigation software system that’s packed with advanced features, including:

  • Inventory tracking – Instant and complete visibility into the inventory on your floor, in your warehouse and more.
  • Mobile compatibility – Access to the system from a tablet or laptop for easy mobility around your store.
  • Cloud based – Open the system in any browser and know that everything will be synced and backed up in the cloud.
  • Easy to use – A user interface that’s considered among the easiest to navigate in the furniture industry.

“Myriad Software is thrilled with our Nationwide partnership,” says Carolyn Crowley, Myriad’s owner. “We see a great fit for the members wanting to move to a retail management system that is a trusted source and state-of-the art technology using our web application, PointCentric®. The current and future integration will benefit Nationwide members with faster business decisions and touch screen benefits.  We look forward to showing the complete retail management software solution, PointCentric®, at the PrimeTime show in August.”

Myriad and Nationwide will continue to work together to further integrate the POS platform into other areas of the business. In addition to Myriad’s integration with PriMetrix, retailers with websites supported by Site on Time and Retailer Web Services will see Myriad’s platform integrated later this year.
