Trisha Yearwood Home Collection with Legacy Classic | Modern at Nationwide PrimeTime in Las Vegas, Nevada

With a country music career that took off in the early 90s, Trisha Yearwood has seen her fair share of stages. However, August 2024 marked a first, as Trisha took the stage at Nationwide’s PrimeTime event and expo in Las Vegas, NV — but not to sing.

In partnership with NMG Vendor, Legacy Classic | Modern, Trisha herself attended PrimeTime to debut her tenth furniture collection — and first with Legacy — on the expo floor. The modern farmhouse inspired XXX’s and OOO’s Collection is a nod to her hit 1994 song, “XXX’s and OOO’s (An American Girl).” As a whole home collection, it includes furniture for the bedroom, dining room, living room and home office in four finish options — Cotton, Amber, Cocoa and Bellflower — with select pieces featuring signature X and O details.

Members had an opportunity to meet Trisha at the Legacy booth. Select Members were also invited to attend a special VIP meet and greet at the closing of the expo. Yet, the highlight of Trisha’s visit to PrimeTime was her on-stage, fireside chat with Lauren Cifoni, Nationwide’s VP of omnichannel marketing — an open event attended by over 150 Members. During the 50-minute chat, Trisha shared her inspiration behind the Trisha Yearwood Home Collection and how she incorporates select pieces from her line into her own home decor and furnishings for her home studio. She also shared milestones from her career along with encouragement to embrace new opportunities. For Trisha, this included four best-selling cookbooks and an award-winning cooking show.

This inspiring, down-to-earth chat was a highlight for PrimeTime attendees and set the tone for the future of NMG’s relationship with Legacy and Trisha’s line. “As our partnership continues to grow, the Trisha Yearwood Home Collection will be a focal point for our furniture strategy for the remainder of 2024 and into 2025,” notes Jeff Rose, Nationwide VP of furniture, bedding and outdoor. “Trisha is a well-known name in all walks of life and has built immense popularity in the furniture industry,” Rose continues. “We are excited to see Legacy create new opportunities for Trisha and the NMG Membership as we leverage her strong brand reputation through intensified marketing efforts to drive consumers into our Members’ stores.”

Nationwide’s Member base currently includes 325 Legacy retailers, a number expected to increase following the enthusiastic response to Trisha and her collection at PrimeTime.

“[From Members] being able to see that furniture in the booth, we’ve written so many orders this show solely from the fact that we have the product here,” shares T. Dock Johnson, Legacy Classic | Modern director of sales operations.

The Trisha Yearwood Home Collection is more than a celebrity endorsement or licensing agreement. Trisha is actively involved in every aspect of her furniture line, from conceptualization and design to connecting with retailers who carry her collection. Her visit to PrimeTime is yet one more example of how much she cares — not only about products, but about people.

“Furniture, as a whole, is a relationship-driven industry,” adds Johnson. “Once you build that strong relationship with a handful of Members, that spreads within the Membership organization.”
