Though it measures slightly over 300 square feet, Nationwide Marketing Group’s Tiny Home will certainly prove true the old saying about everything being bigger in Texas when it rolls into the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center for CEDIA Expo, September 29 – October 1. Nationwide’s smart-home-on-wheels will make its first appearance at the smart home industry’s premier event — and first public showing in over two years — with a whole host of upgrades.

“Our Tiny Home is a reflection of what’s possible when you bring together partners from across our channel,” says Hank Alexander, director of Home Technology Specialists Nationwide (HTSN). “Packed in there, you’ll see screens, audio, smart appliances, smart lighting, whole home automation — everything a custom integrator might spec into a standard project. We’re excited for the CEDIA community to finally get to see and engage with our Tiny Home.”

First displayed at Nationwide’s August 2019 PrimeTime event in New Orleans, the Tiny Home features products from a number of key HTSN vendor partners. A new Samsung Frame TV is mounted on the wall in the living room area and supported by a recently added Marantz receiver. Philips Hue lighting now sets the mood throughout the home, while Google Nest security, doorbell and thermostat products ensure the Tiny Home is secure and comfortable. Klipsch brings the entertainment experience to life with in-ceiling speakers in the living room and outdoor speakers around the patio area. An upgraded package of connected GE Appliances can be found in the kitchen. PowerShades automated shades were recently outfitted on the Tiny Home’s windows. And the whole experience is brought together thanks to Control4.

“It’s a truly magical experience, walking through this Tiny Home and seeing how it all just works,” says Alexander. “And with all of the new products and upgrades, the Tiny Home serves as a perfect example of how integrators can continue to serve existing clients, bringing them the latest and greatest smart home experience.”

Adds Richard Glikes, president and CEO of Azione Unlimited: “Getting back together with our dealers and vendors in person, with the added twist of having a booth with the Tiny Home is what gets us excited. This will be the best Azione Unlimited CEDIA event ever.”

To celebrate the Tiny Home’s arrival at CEDIA Expo, HTSN and Azione are giving away a trip of a lifetime to one lucky integrator. An opportunity only available to existing HTSN and Azione members, integrators who tour the home can enter to win an all-expenses-paid cruise valued at $3,500.

In addition to the Tiny Home, CEDIA attendees who visit the HTSN and Azione Unlimited booth (#31117) will have the chance to learn more about the benefits of membership and meet with participating vendor partners. For more information, or to set up appointments during CEDIA Expo, please contact Hank Alexander (hank.alexander@nationwidegroup.org) or Richard Glikes (richard@azionegroup.com).
